Yesterday I had the joy to promote both Callie and Kaiya to their second rank in Grey belt.... these two young ladies both have always made such an effort to be a part of the school even when they become busy with other activities....
Coming up in the art with a sibling is truly special as their journeys at times mirror each other`s but most importantly is that they have a built in support system that helps them stay motivated and accountable and it shows with their love of being active and making a big contribution to the academy.

This last weekend I had the honor to promote Lucy to her first rank of Grey belt. The one thing I am so fortunate to have with the little ones is always remembering what their first day was like when I meet them and to see how they develop.
What is even more special and important to me is the trust and relationship my students have in me to teach them and guide them. From the fist day I met Lucy there was an immediate connection and to see her grow and develop is such a great experience for me and the school.

As of today Todd is our schools most accomplished competitor adult or child..... He has competed at three different tournaments so far and has only one loss to his record. He also has the fastest submission ! Amazing to see how hard he works each week and for me so importantly how he shows humility in his wins and resilience during his one loss.

Today I was extremely happy to promote McKenna to her second rank of Grey belt. McKenna is our fist second rank Grey belt in our little kids program. She was also the little one who gave me the confidence to start a little kids program and for that I will forever be grateful to her 💗

Big day yesterday professor @davephim promoted Lisa to the rank of brown belt.... Lisa is Rampart Academy jiu jitsu school`s first to obtain the rank of Brown belt. She is also the first "RED ROOSTER" female brown belt. Big congratulations in all your hard work and achievement Lisa !

Last weekend 15 of our kids competed at NAGA in Hillsborough. It was the most kids we havr taken to competition. 9 of them received medals 2 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze (and a NAGA Sword). So proud of all of them and how hard they worked to prepare and for giving their best on every single match.
So grateful to Coach Kevin, Andres, Melissa, and Jess for all their efforts in giving the kids the coaching they needed.
I would like to thank the parents for making this happen without their support none of this would be possible.
